John Roy Garrod B.Mus(Hons)
John roy Garrod studied the Bachelor of Music course at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama from which he graduated as a B.Mus (Hons) in 2010 as a composer and a flautist.
He also attended the RSAMD junior academy for 4 years beforehand where he was involved in choral singing as well as his instrumental studies.
After graduating, John decided to extend his career opportunities by studying the PGDE course in order to become a secondary school music teacher. He graduated in 2013 and is looking forward to a long career teaching the subject for which he has a strong passion.
John has been singing since an early age with various choirs and ensembles such as the RSAMD Junior Academy Chorus, the Inverclyde Schools Senior Choir and also with Inverclyde Voices. As well as tutoring and singing with Inverclyde Voices, John enjoys composing songs for the choir to perform.
